Summary: Includes interior and exterior views of the corporate headquarters of the Morton Salt Company, located at 110 North Wacker Drive. Exterior views show the east facade on Wacker Drive and the west facade as seen from across the Chicago River. There is a detail of the windows of the first three floors. The color transparencies show that curtains in several colors were used. Interior views show the lobby, elevators, and offices of all types. Executive, supervisor, secretarial, and general pooled spaces are shown. Also shown are a board room, lunchroom, and nurse's station, corridors, doorways, and artwork. Some of this art has a salt theme, such as the history, manufacture, and physical form of salt. Also included are the company's little girl with an umbrella logo and the company slogan, "when it rains, it pours." The artworks are executed in different materials.

Several of these views include people, such as a uniformed lobby guard, nurse with patient, employees in the lunchroom, and a woman walking through doors. Photographed for architects Graham, Anderson, Probst & White, interior designer A. Dudley Kelly, public relations firm Burnett & Logan, Inc., and Sherman Olson Company. J is two negatives taped together.
