Summary: Maquette for sculpture by Joan Miro entitled "Chicago." Views include maquette in studio, site on Washington Street between Brunswick Building and Chicago Temple where statue is to be installed, and maquette superimposed on site. Brunswick Corporation commissioned the maquette, but could not fund the construction of the full-size sculpture. Additional money was raised by the city of Chicago and private foundations, and the full-size sculpture was installed in 1981.
