Description of the Collection

Summary: Views of the ICRR freight yards and tracks and other

development of ICRR owned land between Randolph Street and Lake

Michigan from 1896-1963. Subjects include ICRR depots and tracks

(1893-97); general views of the area around 12th Street to the

Chicago River; Beaubien Court to Lake Michigan (1940s-50s); and views

concerning lakefront air rights (1960s).
