Description
of the Collection
Summary:
Individual portraits of Chicago's early male settlers.
Includes
prominent as well as lesser known men. Some images seem to

The
compilation of the album is somewhat later than the creation of
the
portraits as many of those depicted were deceased at that time.
Some
manuscript identification includes death dates.
