Summary:	This collection of photographs was taken for the Uptown Chicago Commission to document housing conditions in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, 1978-1991. Each photograph is marked with the exact location of the building and is sometimes stamped with the time as well. The photographs show building in various states of disrepair. For many locations, multiple photographs show the decline of a building over several years prior to demolition. The collection includes both interior and exterior views of many buildings.
