made up of a group of elite Chicago businessmen and emerging leaders. The club
provided a forum for discussion and debate on finance, economics, politics, and
other current issues, and their impact on the city of Chicago. Speakers at
luncheons, dinners, and other events sponsored by the club have included
prominent businessmen, politicians, historians, journalists, educators, and
others, such as Herbert Hoover, Nelson A. Rockefeller, John F. Kennedy, Donald
Rumsfeld, Lee Iacocca, and Richard J. Daley.
